Howard F. Wilkinson, Director

Mr. Wilkinson brings over twenty-five years of executive management experience in Commercial and Industry Security to PetroStrata Corporation. This experience and extensive knowledge includes systems design & engineering, marketing and sales, manufacturing and finance. A UCLA graduate, Howard moved into commercial security at Cardkey Systems, Inc. in 1981. As a sales & marketing executive, he managed many of the companies’ National accounts, including Chevron, Texaco and Mobil, by providing large computer-based access control, alarm monitoring and building management systems.

In 1987, Mr. Wilkinson founded Cellular Control Systems Corporation, a high-tech company that designed and manufactured “wireless” on-line, real time, access control and building management systems designed specifically for the Lodging Industry. In 1995, Howard founded Open Technologies. Building on his patented, wireless communication technology, a wireless “Player Tracking System” was produced for blackjack and other table games in large casinos.

Mr. Wilkinson now serves as a business start-up consultant or acts in a direct management capacity. In addition to electronic system design and manufacturing, he has served the following industries: door, frame and door hardware manufacturing; commercial construction; and kitchen appliance manufacturing.
